The latest and greatest update on Miles' arrival is....
Nothing to report. Cervix is still at just under 2cm and I'm cramping w/ lower backaches and contractions on and off.
I did test positive with Group Strep B...which is new for me. I didn't test positive w/ Mike or Max. Anyways, it's a bacterial infection that won't cause me any harm, but could potentially be passed on to the baby during delivery which they will want to avoid, so they'll put me on IV anti-biotics as soon as I am admitted to the hospital. I guess 30% of all pregnancies test positive for this. Dr J is not concerned at all...she just said once I go into labor I will want to go to the hospital sooner than later to get the IV started right away.
Other than that...just trying to get last minute preparations done before the unknown big day...and enjoying the last fleeting days of 1 on 1 with Max. Now that he is feeling better...he's been so much fun to be around. Today he was in such a silly mood and I soaked in lots of that adorable dimple and those big teethies of his! What a ham he can be...and a trouble maker too! He seems to think being naughty is entertainment for me...but when he flashes that smile...it is! He knows me too well!
My next appointment is next Thursday. Hopefully we'll be meeting Miles next weekend...if not before! :)
